Keeping up with the Kashyaps

The title is an influence of the recurring nature of Ks in ms.Kashyap at Kochi in Kerala while the former was just her, kidding. Never mind I missed my much sought after icon, Anna Dello Russo just by a week, I was still looking forward to Kerala. For a north Indian going down south is an adventure in itself especially if months of tedious monotony(read: an arduous cycle of waking up to worldly pursuits & going to sleep) have tired her. So I was back again in this exciting place. The cinema leaves me inquisitive & the food is sumptuous leaving me ravenously appetitive... Inconsistent as it may sound but ships in Kochi go to & fro like it’s nobody’s business! The continuous flow of integrated logistics all through the night, quite apparent from my window had me rapt. KOCHI: India's 'MONACO'

I had the tastiest bite of life while holidaying in Kerala! Kochi(Kerala) is much like Monaco, South of France. Surrounded by water, yatchs, a breath-taking view of the harbour, small islands which are frequented by boats... Luxury Hotels, Naval Ships, Cruises, Cottages, Churches, Curio shops, Houseboat-ing in the backwaters, Tea gardens, The Most Unsuspecting Thunder & lightning, The Taj Ambience, Less of people & plenty of space... A quiet dinner with Japanese friends, mind you, they are the most humble folks, they can talk to you about everything under the sun that sound so appropriate even in a formal setting... Kerala has its own film industry! So all the billboards & ads feature (no offense)fat UNCLES with THICK moustaches! The houseboats remind you of the Dal lake, except that here they take you for a 24hr ride in the backwaters, stalling at the banks of rice fields just for meals to be eaten on board.
